Our client, one of the world’s leads in automotive and industrial solutions faced adaunting backlog of 120 new system development projects, collectively valued atbillions of Euros. Urgency loomed as completing these projects within a year wasimperative to safeguard the company's standing as a global leader.

Project Approach

To address this critical situation, Clarifications assumed the pivotal role of project manager, orchestrating work streams across the organisation. We meticulously redefined project scopes, aligning them with market demands and supply chain capabilities.

Various responsibilities were methodically delegated to core project team members at a tactical level, with progress diligently monitored and communicated. Weekly and bi-weekly project meetings were conducted to meticulously track progress and maintain momentum. Concurrently, the project manager provided coaching and mentoring to the in-house project supervisor, empowering him with the skills to optimise project management processes.

Results

Within a span of six months, significant strides were made: 60% of projects were successfully completed, 30% seamlessly integrated into other initiatives, and the remaining 10% swiftly advanced into the execution phase, nearing completion. This achievement not only solidifies the company's position as a global market leader but also promised substantial cost savings in the upcoming financial year. Furthermore, the in-house project supervisor is on track to receive certification, marking a testament to their enhanced skills and capabilities.
